Your Stay at Plas Farm
Plas Farm is an ideal touring base, a short drive to the coast and Dylan Thomas Boathouse at Laugharne (see background image). You can play a quiet round of golf nearby or for the more adventurous there is Oakwood Leisure Park. There are many craft centres and historic places of interest. For Garden lovers Aberglasney and the National Botanic Garden of Wales at Middleton Hall is well worth a visit
West Wales is an area of rolling hills, remote uplands, unspoilt mountain roads, cool forests and silent lakes. But do not be deceived by the Tranquility, there is plenty going on here, including pony trekking, fishing, shooting, walking, narrow gauge railways, riding, canoeing, sailing and mountain biking- the list is endless.
Pendine Sands
Just 14 miles from Plas Farm is the village of Pendine. Carmarthen Bay stretches for miles and it is the perfect place to get away from it all. There’s plenty going on at Pendine throughout the summer. The annual music festival attracts bands from around the country. Morfa Bay Adventure Centre provides numerous outdoor activities. Marros Riding Centre is a nearby and provides treks along the beautiful sandy beaches.
